Alice Shane’s bylined articles on business, finance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, travel and general interest topics have been appearing in the major media for over 20 years. She has written extensively about global financial trends, hedge funds, personal finance, medical economics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, managed care and public policy, executive travel.

Alice Shane writes and produces newsletters, press materials, website content, ghostwrites for corporate CEOs and physicians, and pens white papers on critical healthcare and legislative issues.

As head of a consultancy, Alice Shane Communications, Summit, NJ., she is a corporate communications and media consultant, providing services to leading corporations and non-profit organizations, including Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Prudential Insurance, ITT Hartford, Ortho Biotech, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and The National Kidney Foundation. She has a first-tier background as a public relations executive and has been a consultant to the Rowland Company and Ruder Finn Public Relations (Planned Television Arts Division).

Ms. Shane is a principal and Marketing/Public Relations Director of Kleenburn, LLC, a Wyoming-based company that provides anti-pollution technologies to the electric power industry.

Alice Shane majored in creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania where she participates in the Alumni Mentors Program, Center for Programs in Contemporary Writing. She taught business journalism at New York University (2004-2008) and has conducted workshops in public relations at New School University (2002-2005).

She is a member of the Authors Guild and the American Society of Journalists & Authors.
